The 177,000 square foot MTS Iceplex boasts four regulation sized rinks (with spectator seating), Goalie training centre (45’ x 37’), 20 player dressing rooms, 4 officials’ dressing rooms, pro shop, food and beverage services, concessions, restaurant/lounge, meeting rooms and office space.

With the arrival of spring and the number of visitors to the Assiniboine Park and Zoo increasing, the Assiniboine Park Conservancy will once again be extending seasonal hours of operation at all Park attractions starting on Good Friday.

The International Polar Bear Conservation Centre opened at Assiniboine Park Zoo on January 23, 2012. The modern new facility is a key component of the new Journey to Churchill exhibit currently under construction at the Zoo as part of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy’s overall $200 million redevelopment plan.

The last week of December saw us sponsoring two breakfasts for hockey players aged 5-12 at the Winnipeg Jets Challenge Cup held at the MTS Iceplex.
